Shift, yes or no?

I have a question, what is that thing that happens when you hold shift for too long? It actually scares me cause I dont know how to get rid of it. Its one of those computer things I dont get. Its usually when Im thinking of what to write and then, OH NO! stupid, it asks do you want to ... yes or no. And I dont know! :o

Ive restarted my computer before just to get out of it. Im really not sure if I should hit the yes or no button. It's one of those things, even worse than falling asleep on the keyboard with a million CCCCCCCCCCCCCCs with keyboard marks on your forehead.

the weekend *~ <(^o^<) (>^o^)> ~*

yes, today is Friday. The end of the week. My previous job was in retail, and for those of you who have been in retail and hopefully escaped know - you dont get weekends off. The largest flow of customers is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so you are working while everyone else is enjoying their two back to back days off. I did it for three years, no vacation, 5 - 18 days straight weeks. I mean, I did get a random day of the week off, like Tuesday. And those are the best to go food shopping, clothes shopping, drive. No one is around. But weekends are gold. I dont mind that theres congestion to the beach, or long lines to pay. Mentality-wise it is much much better. I know that by 6pm Friday, I can leave and head home and wont have be in the office until Monday morning. Consistency, its a beautiful thing. Im happy that I have this job, its a good one. Im healthier for it. And yeah . . . TGIF.

cheers

hmm . . .
so networking and work, my professional self. It doesnt exactly go with my outside, after work person. For we are all different outside of work, when we get home, when we unwind, relax and enjoy ourselves. I have been debating whether to provide links to my Myspace, Friendster, and Xanga on my LinkedIn. As of right now, I dont think I will. This professional persona, which is a part of me is all that you will see. No wacko photos of my ripped jeans and paint splattered polos or late night street meat adventures. No crude humor or NSFW subjects, that side and this side will be separate. Oh well, I guess thats what true networking is all about, meeting face to face. Having eye contact, the only true contact in my opinion. Adds and Comments are too cheap and ultimately add up to nothing. If you want to network and know the other side of me besides the professional me, call me, we'll do coffee.

tired? yes.

its funny how everyday, it is 8:49am, I look at the clock on my computer and I have 8 hours, 11 minutes, and 49 seconds left before I can technically leave. I cant see how I am going to make it through the day, but somehow, . . . somehow I do. I need not only my second wind, but the first one as well, and very soon at that. Its gonna be a busy day today. (-_-) zzzzz

They call him the Music Man . . .

It was another early Monday morning, woke up at 5am. There was a slight haze of mist and gray, its humid out there. Wash up, suit up (minus the jacket and tie), and hop on the bus. I flash my pass, and who do I see, the “Music Man”. The Music Man is a bus driver, almost like an urban legend of sorts. He's a good driver, speeding past yellows and being aggressive with the traffic. But why the Music Man? Because as we exit the Lincoln Tunnel, and this is every ride, he plays music through the overhead speakers. Usually something happy and old. Most of the tunes are orchestrated pieces I don’t know, but it’s nice. It helps to wake you and ease you into your day so early in the morning. My friends and I talk of him. “If you’re lucky you’ll catch him. Who? The Music Man as he takes you into the city and plays you a little tune.”
